NOVELTY - Use of adjacent double hydroxy polymers as conductive auxiliary agent, comprises linear hydroxy-containing compound (I), linear alkene-based compound (II), branched hydroxy-containing compound (III) and branched alkene-based compound (IV), is claimed. USE - The adjacent double hydroxy polymer is useful: as conductive auxiliary agent; in conductive paste for electric storage; and in electrode paste for lithium-ion battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The conductive paste is composed of adjacent double hydroxy polymer: utilizes adjacent double hydroxy polymer as conductive auxiliary agent, which improves the dispersion effect of conductive materials in conductive paste; prepares electrode paste with high solid content and excellent stability; reduces the amount of solvent used when preparing the electrode paste; is energy-saving and environmentally-friendly; and does not easy to fall off the active material layer, reduces the internal resistance of the active material layer, and improves the electrical performance of the electrode. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Use of adjacent double hydroxy polymers as conductive auxiliary agent, comprises linear hydroxy-containing compound of formula (I), linear alkene-based compound of formula (II), branched hydroxy-containing compound of formula (III) and branched alkene-based compound of formula (IV), is claimed. R1-R6= H, or 1-8C alkyl; and a-d = ≥ to 0, preferably a = 50-1500, b, d = 0-100, and c = 0-1000. Provided that: a and c are not 0 at the same time; (a+c)/(a+b+c+d) = ≥ 0.8; and a/c = 0.5-100. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: conductive paste, comprising conductive material and conductive auxiliary agent, where the conductive auxiliary agent includes at least one adjacent double hydroxy polymers; preparing conductive paste; electrode paste; and lithium-ion battery.
