NOVELTY - The gas diffusion layer comprises a micro-porous layer (1) and a substrate layer (2), where the substrate layer is located above the base layer, and a functional structure (3) is located in the micro-porous layer. The functional structure includes a fiber structure or a cross-linking point of the automatic capture-porous layer, and forms a nano-scale functional structure at the position. The sheet structure is placed in an automatic capture layer and a complete continuous phase is formed on the edge or surface of the sheet structure. The gap is automatically filled between the interface between the microporous layer and the substrate layers (2) and anchoring the microporous layer on the surface of substrate layer. USE - Fuel cell gas diffusion layer for proton exchange membrane fuel cell used as energy conversion device for directly converting chemical energy into electric energy. ADVANTAGE - The conductivity of the fuel cell, mechanical strength and water management effect are improved. The structure damage of the gas diffusion layer is avoided, when the stress disappears, because of the elasticity of the polymer in the functional structure. The structural strength of these sites is enhanced. The external compressive stress is transmitted to the carbon fiber, which is buffered by the carbon nanotube structure, thus avoiding the structure damage. The mechanical property of the carbon nano tube is enhanced, thus enhancing the structural strength.
