NOVELTY - Basalt fiber reinforced thermoplastic composites with electromagnetic wave shielding function, comprises 25-30 wt.% surface-modified basalt chopped fibers, 70-75 wt.% thermoplastic resin, and 0.3-100 pts. wt. antioxidant. USE - Used as basalt fiber reinforced thermoplastic composites with electromagnetic wave shielding function. ADVANTAGE - The composite material: has excellent mechanical strength; and possesses the function of shielding electromagnetic waves. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparing basalt fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite material with electromagnetic wave shielding function comprising taking the raw material of composite material, and using twin-screw extrusion granulation unit for melt blending and granulation, preferably adding thermoplastic resin and antioxidant from main feeding port of twin-screw extrusion granulation unit through weight loss metering, adding basalt chopped fibers with carbon nanotubes attached to the surface and polydopamine/iron(II,III) oxide nanoparticle composite coating layer from the side feeding port, where the temperature of the twin-screw extruder is set from the main feeding port to the machine head according to the thermoplastic resin used, and the screw speed is 300 revolutions per minute.
