NOVELTY - A polyacrylonitrile/chitosan composite nanofiltration membrane has a polyacrylonitrile support and a chitosan coating layer modified with graphene oxide. USE - Polyacrylonitrile/chitosan composite nanofiltration membrane is used in spirally wound type membrane module used for water treatment system (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The polyacrylonitrile/chitosan composite nanofiltration membrane has high permeability, high salt rejection ratio, excellent anti-fouling property and chlorine resistance.
