NOVELTY - Negative electrode comprises a current collector and a lithium-sulfur battery negative electrode positioned on at least one surface of the negative electrode current collector and comprising a protective layer including graphene. USE - Negative electrode for use in a lithium-sulfur battery. ADVANTAGE - The positive electrode active material has a low weight per atom, is easy to supply due to abundant resources, is inexpensive, has no toxicity, and is an environmentally friendly material. The negative electrode has a protective layer including graphene with some defects on the negative electrode current collector, inhibiting the permeation of lithium polysulfide, and preventing damage to the negative electrode current collector due to lithium polysulfide and enabling the realization of a lithium-sulfur battery with excellent lifespan characteristics. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for negative electrode for use in a lithium-sulfur battery which comprises a positive electrode including a positive electrode active material and a lithium-sulfur battery comprising an anode and an electrolyte for a lithium-sulfur battery.
