NOVELTY - Preparation of mesoporous graphene comprises reacting graphene oxide and activated gas in protective atmosphere, activating; washing obtained mesoporous graphite with dilute surfactant, filtering and drying. USE - Mesoporous graphene used for super capacitor, lithium ion battery or fuel cell, nano electronic device, high frequency circuit, sensor, electronic gene sequencing and reducing electric noise (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The obtained mesoporous graphene has average aperture of 3.6-5.0 nm, preferably 3.7-4.9 nm, and specific surface area is 1800-3200 m2/g, preferably 2000-3000 m2/g. The super capacitor specific capacitance is 120-300 F/g.
