NOVELTY - Use of vinyl-modified nano-filler as blend polymer compatibilizer, and in conjunction with an initiator. USE - THe vinyl-modified nano-filler is useful as blend polymer compatibilizer and in conjunction with an initiator (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The filler: initiates the molecular chain of each component of the blended polymer and simultaneously reacts with the vinyl on the surface of the vinyl-modified nanofiller to form a co-crosslinked product in situ to improve compatibility; strengthens the interface between the blended polymer components; improves the tensile strength and modulus; shows that the grafted vinyl silane provides beneficial conditions for the vinyl-modified nano-filler as a compatibilizer; improves the compatibility of different polymers; and strengthens the interface function. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: preparing the blend polymer, comprising mixing polymer, compatibilizer and initiator, melting and mixing to obtain the finished product.
