NOVELTY - Preparing graphene film on a metal surface comprises (i) preparing basic plating liquid, (2) pre-processing the base material, (3) electrochemically deposited M-C coating layer, and (4) annealing, where M is a metal, preferably cobalt, nickel or copper. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene film on metal surface. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and economical. The film has excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for graphene film prepared by above mentioned method.
