NOVELTY - Preparation of ozone oxidation catalyst with core-shell structure, involves washing volcanic particles, immersing in 0-10 mol/L metal salt solution, stirring at 60-80 rpm for 15-30 minutes, leaving still for 8-12 hours, washing, drying in an oven for 12-24 hours to obtain volcanic particles loaded with metal ions, ultrasonically treating, adding to graphene oxide sol, dripping 60-80 mg/mL hydrazine hydrate solution, heating at 343 K for 12-24 hours, freeze-drying, and reducing. USE - Preparation of ozone oxidation catalyst (claimed) for removing pollutants in wastewater. ADVANTAGE - The method is economical and enables effective usage of solid waste resource. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for catalyst comprising the volcanic particles as core and multilayer metal ion as shell.
