NOVELTY - Ultra-light porous aerogel based on MXene-graphene composite, prepared by mixing monolayer MXene aqueous solution and graphene oxide aqueous solution through hydrothermal reaction. The monolayer MXene is titanium carbide (Ti3C2), vanadium carbide, titanium carbide (Ti2C), titanium vanadium carbide and molybdenum titanium carbide. USE - The aerogel is useful as a lithium-carbon dioxide battery cathode catalyst (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The aerogel promotes the reduction of carbon dioxide and decomposition of the discharge product, improves the specific capacity of the battery, improves the circulation stability of battery, is good for carbon dioxide diffusion and transmission of the electrolyte ion, reduces the mass transfer and load resistance, reduces the over-potential of battery charging and discharging, has a stable framework, avoids the agglomeration and stack of single layer MXene, more exposes catalytic activity site, and greatly promotes the reversible formation and decomposition.
