NOVELTY - Corrosion resistant sealing element comprises 100-102 pts. wt. ethylene propylene rubber, 20-25 pts. wt. fluorine rubber, 3-8 pts. wt. calcium sulfate, 1.8-2.2 pts. wt. diethylene carboxylate, 5-7 pts. wt. carbon black, 3.5-4.5 pts. wt. carnauba wax, 4-9 pts. wt. asphalt, 1-3 pts. wt. modified graphene, 8-12 pts. wt. calcined bentonite, 2.2-2.8 pts. wt. zinc oxide, 3-5 pts. wt. 2-mercaptobenzothiadiazole salt, 10-20 pts. wt. filler and 3-6 pts. wt. antioxidant. USE - The sealing element is useful for automobile brake caliper (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The sealing element: has improved viscosity, resistance and tensile deformation properties, reinforcing and thickening effect, improved anti-curved flexible crack, stability, hot air aging resistance and acid-alkali corrosion resistance properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing corrosion resistant sealing element comprising (i) mixing 3 g graphene and 80 ml of 80 wt.% concentrated sulfuric acid, then incubating in water bath at 40 degrees C for 30 minutes to obtain reaction liquid, adding 10 wt.% nitric acid solution into 10 wt.% the reaction liquid, heating to 80 degrees C and adding 1.5 wt.% potassium permanganate, adjusting the temperature of reaction liquid to 60 degrees C, stirring for 2 hours at a speed of 500 revolutions/minute, then naturally cooling to room temperature, filtering, washing using absolute ethyl alcohol, and drying to constant weight, grinding, and sieving with 1200 mesh sieves to obtain graphene oxide, and (ii) formulating prepared graphene oxide in step (i) into 15% concentration of oxidized graphene suspension, adding 1 wt.% glycolic acid into oxidized graphene suspension, heating to 55 degrees C, reacting for 2 hours, naturally cooling to room temperature to obtain modified graphene oxide dispersion liquid, then filtering, washing using deionized water to neutralize, and drying to constant weight to obtain final product.
