▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Production of composition containing graphene oxide sheets involves adding a modifying agent to a graphene oxide feed suspension containing graphene oxide sheet to form the composition, and modifying (20) the composition under elevated temperature conditions such that the modifying agent reacts with graphene oxide sheets to create imperfections in graphene oxide sheets, and stopping the reaction by reducing the temperature of composition such that the composition stabilizes and applied to a substrate to form a filter having a graphene oxide membrane. USE - Production of composition containing graphene oxide sheets used for forming filter (all claimed) for filtering fluid. Can also be used as printable composition using microgravure printing machine. ADVANTAGE - The method does not removes unreacted amount of the modifying agent in the composition before applied to the porous substrate, and provides composition having reduced adhesion. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: formation of filter, which involves applying an adhesive additive to a porous substrate (60), and applying the composition to the porous substrate to form a filter having the membrane containing graphene oxide. The adhesive additive facilitates bonding of the composition to substrate; the filter, which has a rejection of 90-99.5% under acidic conditions when measured using the Rose Bengal probe molecule in cross-flow apparatus; and the composition containing graphene oxide sheets.
