NOVELTY - The mat (200) has a first layer and a second layer which are arranged on top of each other. A liquid permeable substrate is formed in the first layer, and covers a first area. A heat transfer arrangement (210) is formed in the second layer, and has a graphite and/or graphene and covers a second area. The first area is larger than the second area, and the second area partly overlaps the first area. The heat transfer elements of the heat transfer arrangement are provided as elongated strips. An adhesive is configured to attach the heat transfer arrangement to the substrate. USE - Heat transfer mat for heating or cooling system used in buildings. ADVANTAGE - Provides better and quicker control of the temperature of the floor, and benefits for the environment since less concrete has to be both produced and transported and a lower amount of carbon dioxide is emitted and the amount of time needed for floor installations. Prevents, or reduces the risk of having heat spread in an undesired direction from the heat source by the isolation material.
