NOVELTY - MXene-based catalyst comprises MXene and graphene oxide in a mass ratio of 0.5-5:1. USE - The catalyst is used to catalyze the pyrolysis of biomass to prepare levoglucan where biomass is Chinese white poplar, cotton stalks and corn stalks (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst has better selectivity for the generation of the levorotatory glucan, overcomes the problem that the existing catalyst has bad selectivity, corrosion device, difficult to recycle and is environmentally friendly.
