NOVELTY - Preparing shape memory multifunctional aerogel comprises dispersing the nanopore module in a solvent to obtain a nanopore module dispersion, dissolving the thermoplastic elastomer in the nanopore module dispersion to obtain a mixed solution, transferring the mixed solution to a mold, and continue to slowly lower the temperature to below the freezing point, forming a porous wet gel after thermally induced phase separation, drying porous wet gel to obtain a shape memory multifunctional aerogel. USE - The method is useful for preparing shape memory multifunctional aerogel, which is useful in the preparation of heat insulating material, hydrophobic material, oil-water separating material, material self-repairing radiation refrigerating material or flexible functional composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The shape memory multifunctional aerogel: can be compressed to more than 60%; has compressive strength of 20 KPa-1 MPa, and can be cut at any angle; has shape memory, can be compressed, cutting, healing and tensile properties; has good mechanical property, processing performance, hydrophobic performance, and repeatable utilization, easy to realize continuous, and suitable for large scale production.
