NOVELTY - Preparation of kaolin modified graphene material comprises providing graphene oxide, adding deionized water and ultrasonically processing to obtain stripped graphene oxide solution; adding coupling agent, and heating to obtain coupling agent grafted graphene; subjecting kaolin and dimethyl sulfoxide to intercalation reaction, heating, reacting with potassium acetate and ultrasonically processing to obtain exfoliated kaolin; and dispersing coupling agent grafted graphene in deionized water, adding exfoliated kaolin and performing heating reaction. USE - Method for preparing kaolin modified graphene material. ADVANTAGE - The material has flame retardant effect.
