▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Removing methylmercury from water by using thiolated graphene oxide/iron manganese oxide composite material powder involves iron manganese oxide which is highly dispersed on surface of thiolated graphene oxide and hydrolyzing 3-mercapto propyltrimethoxysilane in the presence of aqueous ammonia. The surface of thiolated graphene oxide contains functional group i.e. carbonyl group, ether group, ester group or C-O group and (~)(p)-(~)(p) linkage. USE - Method for removing methylmercury from water by using thiolated graphene oxide/iron manganese oxide composite material powder (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to remove methylmercury from water by thiolated graphene oxide/iron manganese oxide composite material powder in simple and eco-friendly manner that is strongly selective and stable. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included a method for preparing thiolated graphene oxide/iron manganese oxide composite material powder, which involves: (A) adding and mixing ferrous sulfate and potassium permanganate solution to the oxidized graphene suspension and adjusting pH to 7.5; (B) stirring, allowing mixture to stand and then washing with water; (C) freezing and drying to obtain mixed powder; (D) cleaning the powder for three times with ethanol and then ultrasonically dispersing in toluene for 1 hour; (E) dispersing and stirring in 2% 3-mercapto propyltrimethoxysilane and 95% ethanol for 6 hours; (F) adjusting pH to 9.5 and stirring for 24 hours with aqueous ammonia; (G) centrifuging and separating to obtain solid material and then washing with water; and (H) freezing and drying to obtain thiolated graphene oxide/iron manganese oxide composite material powder.
