NOVELTY - Preparing lithium hexafluorophosphate, comprises (i) configuring electrolytic cell, arranging a cathode and an anode are arranged in the electrolytic cell, pretreating anode is a current collector whose surface, embedding anode with potassium ions, covering with a compound that can embed negative ions, a cation exchange membrane is set in the electrolytic cell, and the cation exchange membrane separates the electrolytic cell into a cathode area and an anode area, the anode is located in the anode area, and the cathode is located in the cathode area; (ii) injecting electrolyte into the anode area and cathode area respectively, the anode area electrolyte is potassium fluoride solution, and cathode area electrolyte is lithium salt solution, forming an electrochemical system; and (iii) discharging formed electrochemical system, and feeding phosphorus pentafluoride gas into the anode area and completing the preparation of lithium hexafluorophosphate when the discharge is completed. USE - The method is useful for preparing lithium hexafluorophosphate. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and efficient, and can realize high-efficiency preparation of lithium hexafluorophosphate by one-step method. The preparation process is safe, the device requirement and operation requirement are low. The obtained product is convenient to separate and recycle, and the yield and purity are high, the purity can be more than 99.8 wt.%.
