NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene-based superhydrophobic aluminum alloy, involves grinding an aluminum alloy using 60-mesh, 120-mesh, 320-mesh, 600-mesh and 1200-mesh sand paper to remove impurities and oxide on the surface, cleaning using absolute ethanol and acetone for 10 minutes, removing organic matter, drying using nitrogen, and preparing a superhydrophobic structure by electrodeposition using an electrolyte comprising 20-40 %mass graphene oxide, 10-20 %mass linolenic acid, and 40-70 %mass absolute ethanol. USE - Preparation of graphene-based superhydrophobic aluminum alloy. ADVANTAGE - The method provides graphene-based superhydrophobic aluminum alloy having excellent corrosion resistance with respect to 3.5% sodium chloride solution (corrosion inhibition efficiency of 99% or more).
