NOVELTY - A separator is prepared by coating front and back sides of separator with 50-100 %mass coating layer comprising inorganic material solid electrolyte material doped amino acid functionalized graphene quantum dots. The amino acid functionalized graphene quantum dots has size of 1-20 nm. The number of layers of graphene quantum dots is 5 layers or less. The thickness of the coating layer is 0.5-5.0 microm. The mass ratio of amino acid functionalized graphene quantum dots and solid electrolyte material is (0.001-0.0001):1, The particle size D50 of inorganic material solid electrolyte material doped amino acid functionalized graphene quantum dots is 100-500 nm. USE - Separator for lithium-ion battery (claimed) for electronic product, energy storage system and power system. ADVANTAGE - The separator has excellent multiplying power performance, safety and circulating performance, and improved charging and discharging rate characteristics of the lithium-ion secondary battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for lithium ion battery, which comprises the separator, positive electrode sheet, negative electrode sheet, and electrolyte.
