(CN212391321-U) NOVELTY - A sample cell and a device for cooling a sample in a low temperature cooling environment, the sample cell provides a sample for holding the sample to be placed in a low temperature cooling environment. The sample cell comprises an airtight shell (101) which can be opened and closed. A sample base (102) for receiving a sample is within the housing. The refrigeration accessory (103) is provided with a refrigeration body for attaching the sample cell to a cryogenic cooling environment. The sample cell includes a thermal connection (104) between the sample base (102) and the refrigeration accessory (103). One or more air-tight connectors (105) are provided for establishing an electrical connection between the interior and exterior of the housing (101). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) an arrangement for cooling a sample in a cryogenically cooled environment; (2) a method for handling a sample to be placed in a cryogenically cooled environment.
