NOVELTY - Preparing graphene based on phenolphthalein quinoline, comprises: adding graphite into concentrated sulfuric acid, stirring uniformly, adding sodium nitrate, adding potassium permanganate in batches, heating and reacting; adding oxyful into the graphite suspension and stirring; filtering the obtained bright yellow graphite suspension, carrying out pickling and drying; dispersing graphite oxide into organic solvent, and processing by ultrasonic process; and adding phenolphthalein quinoline into the suspension of graphene oxide, stirring and heating to reduce graphene oxide to obtain graphene. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene based on phenolphthalein quinoline. ADVANTAGE - The method: utilizes phenolphthalein quinoline as a reducer and stabilizer to reduce graphene oxide and does not utilize a dispersant to obtain graphene, which disperses in organic solvent uniformly; and can prepare large amount of graphene. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene based on phenolphthalein quinoline, comprises: (a) adding graphite into concentrated sulfuric acid (98%), stirring uniformly, adding sodium nitrate, stirring uniformly for 1 hour, cooling, adding potassium permanganate in batches, heating to 32-38 degrees C by a water-bath, reacting for two hours sufficiently and adding the mixture of ice and water for quenching reaction to obtain brown graphite suspension; (b) adding oxyful (30%) into the graphite suspension while stirring to obtain bright yellow graphite suspension; (c) filtering the bright yellow graphite suspension to obtain tan filter mass, performing pickling to the filter mass, rinsing with deionized water, and finally drying to obtain graphite oxide solids; (d) dispersing graphite oxide into organic solvent, and processing by ultrasonic process for 1 hour to obtain a suspension with graphene oxide sheet dispersed uniformly; and (e) adding phenolphthalein quinoline into the suspension of graphene oxide, stirring till the phenolphthalein quinoline dissolve sufficiently, and heating while stirring to reduce the graphene oxide to obtain graphene, which can disperse in organic solvent.
