NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene polyethylene composite pipe involves (i) adding a modifier with cations to ethanol to form a modified solution, adding the modified solution to polyethylene under agitation for mixing and drying to obtain a modified polyethylene with cations on the surface, (ii) stirring and mixing graphene, solvent and dispersant to form a graphene pre-dispersion solution, dispersing the pre-dispersion solution so that the two-dimensional size of the graphene reaches 10-1000 nm to obtain graphene dispersion liquid, (iii) adding the modified polyethylene and graphene dispersion to the centrifugal mixer, and performing centrifugal mixing at 40-100 degrees C, in which, during the mixing process, the modified polyethylene and the graphene dispersion are electrostatically self-assembled, and the graphene is evenly coated on the surface of the modified polyethylene, and composite pellets are obtained after mixing, and (iv) extruding the composite pellets to obtain a composite pipe material. ADVANTAGE - The method effectively combines graphene with excellent mechanical properties and polyethylene, avoids agglomeration between graphene, and produces composite material with excellent pressure resistance.
