NOVELTY - Graphite is preoxidized, processed into graphene sheet in a microwave, graphite sheet is immersed in Piranha solution containing hydrogen peroxide and sulfuric acid, resultant product is hydrolyzed, oxidized, potassium permanganate is added, and heated, to obtain graphene oxide. The resultant product is dispersed in ethanol, to form uniform graphene oxide dispersion. A surface modifying agent is added to the resultant product to modify surface of graphene oxide, and obtained ionized graphene oxide and alkylimidazolium ionic liquid are mixed, to obtain aqueous lubricating additive. USE - Preparation of aqueous lubricating additive (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple and economical preparation of aqueous lubricating additive having excellent lubricity and compatibility with respect to water. The aqueous lubricating additive provides component having reduced friction, excellent wear resistance and durability in water. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Graphite is preoxidized, processed into graphene sheet in a microwave, the graphite sheet is immersed in Piranha solution containing hydrogen peroxide and sulfuric acid in a volume ratio of 3:7, resultant product is hydrolyzed, oxidized, potassium permanganate is added, and heated at 70 degrees C for 2 hours, to obtain graphene oxide. The resultant product is dispersed in ethanol, to form uniform graphene oxide dispersion with concentration of 20 mg/mL. A surface modifying agent is added to the resultant product to modify surface of graphene oxide, and obtained ionized graphene oxide and alkylimidazolium ionic liquid are mixed in a mass ratio of 1:10-20, to obtain aqueous lubricating additive. The concentration of Piranha solution is 8-20 mg/mL. The amount of surface modifying agent is 1 ml per 1 g graphene oxide.
