NOVELTY - The piece has a current collector whose one side surface is provided with a protective layer. The protective layer is formed from a composition including an inorganic substance, a first agglomerant, a first conductive agent and a coupling agent. An active material layer is also provided on the current collector, and the active material layer is provided on the surface of protective layer away from the current collector. The inorganic substance comprises at least one of oxides, carbides, nitrides, and inorganic salts. The first agglomerant comprises at least one of polyvinylidene fluoride, polyacrylonitrile, polyacrylic acid and derivatives, polyethylene glycol, natural rubber emulsion, styrene-butadiene emulsion, nitrile-butadiene emulsion, and polyurethane. A first conductive agent comprises at least one of conductive carbon black, acetylene black, graphite, graphene, carbon nanotubes, and carbon fibers. USE - The piece is useful for a battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The piece improves the adhesion between the protective layer and the surface of current collector coated with the protective layer by increasing the coupling agent that can improve the bonding strength between the inorganic substance and the first adhesive in the composition for forming the protective layer, thus improving the safety performance of the battery.
