NOVELTY - Surface modified anode material comprises a coating layer is coated on the surface of a lithium iron phosphate material. The coating layer is a continuous composite phase formed by uniformly mixing metal oxide and carbon layer. The metal oxide comprising at least one of oxides of manganese, nickel, magnesium, titanium, vanadium, niobium and/or aluminum elements. USE - Used as surface modified anode material. ADVANTAGE - The surface modified anode material can form a double continuous phase coating layer thus improves its comprehensive performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing surface modified anode material, comprising (i) adding the iron source, phosphorus source, lithium source and reducing agent into the mixed solvent, introducing protective gas at a certain temperature to stir to obtain gel precursor, sintering the gel-like precursor under the inert gas, cooling and crushing to obtain the lithium iron phosphate material; and (ii) adding the lithium iron phosphate material obtained, the carbon source and metal salt into the solvent, grinding to obtain slurry, drying the slurry, calcining and crushing under the protection gas.
