NOVELTY - The composite fiber comprises a fiber carrier and graphene airgel layer, where the fiber carrier is coated on upper surface of the graphene airgel layer. The composite fiber also comprises a fibrous layer disposed on the fiber carrier and the graphene airgel layer. USE - Composite fiber used as capacitor material, adsorbent material, filter material, supported catalyst material, air filter, filter column, water adsorbent material filler, cigarette filter rod, sewage adsorbent material, air conditioning filter material, water machine adsorbent or masks adsorbent material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing composite fiber, which involves: (A) impregnating support with graphene oxide fiber in a solution; and (B) carrying out reduction reaction with self-assembled graphene oxide airgel to obtain the composite fiber.
