▎ 摘 要

NOVELTY - Capacitor-assisted hybrid lithium-ion electrochemical cell assembly (210) comprises: a first positive electrode having first polarity and at least two first electrically conductive tabs (218) disposed on first edge (212) of first positive electrode and second edge distinct from first edge; a second positive electrode having first polarity and at least two second electrically conductive tabs disposed first edge of second positive electrode and second edge distinct from first edge; a third negative electrode having second polarity opposite to first polarity and at least two third electrically conductive tabs disposed on first edge of third negative electrode and second edge distinct from the first edge; and a fourth negative electrode having second polarity and at least two fourth electrically conductive tabs disposed on first edge of fourth negative electrode and second edge distinct from first edge. USE - The assembly is useful for lithium-ion batteries in variety of consumer products and vehicles, i.e. hybrid or electric vehicles. ADVANTAGE - The assembly: has having improved high-energy capacity and high power capacity; current and current density carried by any one of tabs are minimized, which preferably advantageous for ultra-high power applications; utilizes electrochemical cell serves to distribute current more uniformly during operation and lithium ion cycling, thus minimizing variations in current and minimizing current density within high powered cell; reduces current density during high power charging and discharging; and develops high power hybrid lithium-ion cells, which along with high power capacity and high energy capacity, also have uniform current density and good thermal distribution. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for capacitor-assisted hybrid lithium-ion electrochemical cell assembly. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The figure shows cross-sectional view of the capacitor-assisted hybrid lithium-ion electrochemical cell assembly.
