NOVELTY - Preparation of palm nanofiber-graphene-carbon nanotube composite aerogel comprises mixing palm fiber with ammonium persulfate solution, carrying out oxidation reaction to obtain oxidized palm nanofiber, mixing the oxidized palm nanofiber, graphene oxide, reducing agent and water, dispersing to obtain palm nanofiber-graphene composite aerogel, mixing with aminated carbon nanotube dispersion, and crosslinking. USE - The method is for preparation of palm nanofiber-graphene-carbon nanotube composite aerogel used for adsorbing heavy metal and dye pollutants in wastewater. ADVANTAGE - Compared with the traditional 2,2',6,6'-tetramethyl-1-piperidinyloxy oxidation method, the method is environment-friendly, provides composite aerogel, which has excellent mechanical performance, high specific surface area, high adsorption capacity of the heavy metal and dye pollutants in wastewater, and good adsorption after repeated use (saturated adsorption capacity is kept at more than 80% of the original value after 7 times regeneration cycle), and is suitable for mass production.
