NOVELTY - The preparation method of graphene quantum dots involves dispersing graphite oxide in organic solvent and then uniformly mixing, hydrothermally reacting the mixture, adding aqueous ammonia or organic ethylenediamine solution to the mixture and then increasing temperature, filtering the mixture and then washing using water, adding alkaline solution including halogen element to the mixture and then performing Hofmann rearrangement reaction, neutralizing the mixture and then decompressing, and concentrating. USE - The method is useful for preparation of graphene quantum dots, which are useful in biomedicine and biochemical detection and treatment applications. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of graphene quantum dots with excellent dispersibility.
