▎ 摘 要

NOVELTY - The method for producing graphite rich liquid medium involves mixing graphite particles with a liquid medium that has liquid water and water-soluble aliphatic solvent. The multiple flow streams of graphitic dispersion along flow streams are conducted in alignment with an overall flow directional axis of the graphitic dispersion at relatively high flow velocities through disintegration zones associated with eddy recirculation zones to induce multiple vortical flow streams moving at ultra-high Reynolds numbers to cause conversion of a substantial portion of graphitic particles to graphenic particles in a graphenized liquid dispersion. The graphitic material are mechanically exfoliated into graphene nanoparticle platelets or flakes without the use of oxidizing agents or surfactants. The graphenized liquid dispersion is also treated to separate and recover the carbonaceous particulate product from the liquid medium. USE - Electrically conductive suspension method for industrial scale manufacturing of graphene nano-flake products (claimed) from graphite in liquid medium by exfoliator unit use in to manufacture of solar panels, electrodes, optical films, coatings, nano-composite materials, batteries, or fuel cells. ADVANTAGE - The multiple exfoliator units are used to reduce the overall size of each unit, with the effluent from each unit sent to the subsequent unit in serial progression without affecting the quality of the product to achieve the total column height. The method saves user from performing oxidizing, intercalation, or other pretreatment step as the exfoliation process is substantially completely mechanical in nature and is able to successfully produce large quantities of high quality graphenic material without the need to employ any toxically hazardous chemicals and associated complications or potentially fractious reactions. The multiple disintegration zones in relatively close axial adjacency provide effectively extended dwell or residence times of particles in the dispersion undergoing graphenization under the energetically intense turbulence and eddy vorticity provided by the inventive process and associated system. The method allow greater amounts of graphite to be suspended in a predetermined volume of solvent, to prevent aggregation of the graphene platelets produced by the process, and to allow for a transfer of shear stress from the water or acetone mixture to the surface of the graphite so that exfoliation can occur. The method allow greater dispersion capacity as well as providing a liquid film through which a higher shear stress transferred onto the graphite surface. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for the following: 1. Method for producing graphene by exfoliating graphitic material; 2 Exfoliator unit; 3. Method of producing electrically conductive suspension of graphene particles from graphite particles.
