NOVELTY - Conductive pigment paste comprises a pigment dispersion resin (A), a conductive pigment (B), and a solvent (C), where the component (B) contains conductive carbon (B-1) and conductive carbon (B-2), where the average primary particle size or average diameter of the conductive carbon (B-1) is X1, and the average primary particle size or average diameter of the conductive carbon (B-2) is X2, when X1≯ X2, the ratio of X1 and X2 between the two is 1.2-2.5, and both X1 and X2 are 100 nm or less, and the content ratio of component (B-1) and component (B-2) is 1/99-99/1. USE - The conductive pigment paste is useful for mixture paste, coating film, and battery electrode layer. ADVANTAGE - The conductive pigment has excellent pigment dispersibility and storage stability even at a high pigment concentration, and provides the coating film which is excellent in finishing properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: a pigment dispersion method for the conductive pigment paste, involving dispersing the conductive pigment paste with substantially no media; a mixture paste comprising the conductive pigment paste, and at least one electrode active material; a coating film obtained by coating an object to be coated with the conductive pigment paste; and a battery electrode layer obtained by applying the mixture paste to a current collector.
