▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - The modular filtration device (2) has a modular docking plate (4) comprises a quick disconnect plumbing coupling and an electrical connector. An alignment feature aligns and receives a modular filter (3), and a mounting feature for a power supply provides power to the filter. The modular filter comprises a docking face comprising another coupling and another connector. The alignment feature mates with an alignment feature of the modular docking plates to provide proper alignment of the filter with the docking plate. A locking mechanism holds the filter in a place during operation. A deionization cell comprises a set of electrodes. The carbon electrodes comprise one of activated carbon, porous carbon, macroporous carbon, mesoporous carbon, microporous carbon, carbon xerogel, carbon aerogel, graphene, carbon nanofibers, carbon nanotubes, surface-modified carbon, silica-coated carbon, carbon block, carbon film, activated carbon film, carbon felt, or carbon cloth. USE - Modular filtration device for purification of aqueous solutions. Uses include but are not limited to liquids and gases in commercial, industrial and residential applications. ADVANTAGE - The filtration device can be easily and quickly installed and removed, without the need for rotation of the filter around its longitudinal axis. The filter medium enclosed within a container is that the container often entrains or otherwise captures contaminants and a spent filter medium can be disposed together with its container, allowing for clean and safe removal and disposal of the contaminated filter medium. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a modular filtration system. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a front isometric view of the modular filtration system.
