NOVELTY - A substrate is kept in gas containing carbon, the substrate is heated and graphene is formed on the substrate in absence of catalyst. Thus, non-catalytic graphene growth process is carried out. USE - Non-catalytic method for growing graphene used for transparent electrode of solar cell and other electronic components. ADVANTAGE - The method enables efficient growth of graphene with high quality and without using catalyst.
