NOVELTY - Modification method for improving compatibility of graphene oxide with polymethyl methacrylate material, comprises (i) dispersing graphene oxide in 50% of ethanol aqueous solution to obtain first suspension, (ii) adding modifier in the first suspension, heating and reacting to obtain second suspension, (iii) washing the second suspension with deionized water, centrifuging and separating to obtain precipitate, and (iv) vacuum drying the precipitate under constant temperature condition to obtain modified graphene oxide, where the modifier is a mixture of 2-methyl-2-propen-1-ol, acrylic acid and hydrogenated alkoxyl aluminum. USE - The method is useful for modification method for improving compatibility of graphene oxide with polymethyl methacrylate material. ADVANTAGE - The material has improves compatibility.
