NOVELTY - Method for preparing reduced graphene oxide/zeolitic imidazolate framework-67 (rGO/ZIF-67) aerogel, involves (i) preparing graphene oxide nanosheets by adopting an improved Hummer method, (ii) ultrasonically dispersing the nanosheets, water and ascorbic acid suspension liquid, reacting at not less than 75 degrees C for not less than 90 minutes and washing a reaction product with water to obtain rGO hydrogel, (iii) adding the hydrogel to a methanol solution of cobalt nitrate hexahydrate, reacting at 60-80 degrees C for 12-24 hours, pouring out the liquid in the reaction system, dripping a methanol solution of 2-methylimidazole, reacting at 60-80 degrees C for 12-24 hours to obtain rGO/ZIF-67 hydrogel and freeze-drying hydrogel to obtain the finished product, where the mass ratio of nanosheets, water and ascorbic acid in step (ii) is 4:1000:(20-25), the mass ratio of nanosheets to cobalt nitrate hexahydrate is 1:(200-250), and the mass ratio of cobalt nitrate hexahydrate to 2-methylimidazole in step (iii) is (1.5-2):(3.5-4). USE - The method is useful for preparing rGO/ZIF-67 aerogel for adsorbing uranium in acidic solution (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method has low reaction temperature and short reaction time, successfully grows ZIF-67 particles inside the rGO aerogel, and the prepared aerogel shows excellent removal ability for uranium (VI) in acidic solution, and is basically not affected by other metal ions. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a use of the aerogel for adsorbing uranium, where the aerogel is added to a uranium-containing acidic solution, shaking for not less than 24 hours, collecting a solid product and finishing adsorption of uranium in the acidic solution.
