NOVELTY - Cathode active material comprises a composite particle, where the composite particle comprises a first region and a second region, where the first region has a disordered carbon structure, the second region has an ordered carbon structure and/or metal oxide structure, the composite particle surface comprises the first region. USE - The cathode active material is useful in secondary battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The active material cathode : has high gram capacity and active ion diffusion coefficient, thus enabling the secondary battery comprising the negative electrode active material to have high energy density and excellent cycle performance, rate performance and fast charging capability.
