NOVELTY - Graphene wrapped gold nanorod nanocomposite with core-shell structure comprises gold nanorods as core, and graphene as shell with thickness of 1-2 nm and has graphene content 0.005-0.05 mass%. USE - Graphene wrapped gold nanorod nanocomposite. ADVANTAGE - The graphene wrapped gold nanorod nanocomposite has larger Raman signal enhancement. It has simple, low cost, and strong controllability preparation. It has good uniformity and stability properties. It has excellent physical and chemical properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of graphene wrapped gold nanorod nanocomposite by adding 1 pts. vol. of 1.7-2.5 g/l silica-coated gold nanorod solution into 3-8 pts. vol. methanol at weight to volume ratio of 1:(75-85); ultrasonic dispersing to obtain solution C; dispersing silica powder in methanol to obtain solution D; ultrasonic dispersing 1.0-1.5 pts. wt. solution C and 1.0 pts. wt. solution D; drying to remove methanol and to obtain solid; calcining solid under protection of 20-100 cm2/ml methane for 10-18 minutes at 800-1000 degrees C; cooling to obtain calcined powder; mixing hydrogen fluoride, water, and ethanol at volume ratio of (1.8-2.2):1:1 to obtain mixed solution; mixing calcined powder and mixed solution at weight to volume ratio of (1.25-1.35):(6-8); and centrifuging to obtain graphene wrapped gold nanorod nanocomposite.
