NOVELTY - Forming hydroxylferric oxide/graphene oxide composite material involves adding graphite powder and sodium nitrate to concentrated sulfuric acid, stirring; adding potassium permanganate, raising to 35 degrees C; slowly adding deionized (DI) water, raising to 90 degrees C; adding DI water, adding 30 wt.% of hydrogen peroxide; washing, centrifuging, separating, and drying to form graphene oxide powder; taking saturated iron salt aqueous solution into boiling DI water, heating to form hydroxylferric oxide precursor sol; mixing graphene oxide water solution with the sol, stirring; centrifuging; and drying. USE - For preparing hydroxylferric oxide/graphene oxide composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method has simple operation, and low production cost; and is suitable for industrial production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing hydroxylferric oxide/graphene oxide composite material involves adding graphite powder and sodium nitrate as a sheet-shaped structure to the mass fraction of concentrated sulfuric acid having concentration of 98%, at 1-5 degrees C under the condition of stirring for 0.5-1 hours; adding potassium permanganate to the solution, raising the temperature to 35 degrees C for 1.5-3 hours; slowly adding deionized water into the solution, raising the temperature to 90 degrees C for 2 hours; adding de-ionized water, adding 30 wt.% of hydrogen peroxide until the color of the solution is dark brown to bright yellow; washing with deionized water for 3 times; centrifuging, separating, and drying in vacuum to obtain the graphene oxide powder; taking the saturated iron salt aqueous solution into the boiling de-ionized water, heating to red brown solution to obtain ferric oxide precursor sol; mixing the graphene oxide water solution with the hydroxyl-ferric oxide precursor sol, stirring for 0.5-1 hour; and centrifuging the solution to stir uniformly to obtain the product in a vacuum drying box of aging to obtain the hydroxyl-ferric oxide/graphene oxide composite material.
