NOVELTY - A graphene nano ribbon (1) comprises a zigzag-type edge structure at both ends along width direction, in which acene molecules (2) united along length direction at edge portion in width direction are coupled with each other and deviated in width direction for every one molecule. USE - Graphene nano ribbon is used in device (claimed) e.g. electronic device. ADVANTAGE - The graphene nano ribbon has excellent electron mobility at room temperature, ballistic conduction effect and half-integer quantum Hall effect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of graphene nano ribbon, which involves self-organizing tetrahalide acene molecules as precursor molecules on a metallic crystal surface, polymerizing and cyclizing the tetrahalide acene molecules by heating.
