NOVELTY - Polyamide composites comprise 0.1-4 wt.% hybrid modified graphene oxide silica filler based on the weight of the composite, and optionally containing maleic anhydride. USE - Polyamide composites for use in textile, machinery, automotive and food industries, and production of fibers, parachutes, gears, bearings, tire cords, engine covers and timing belt covers. ADVANTAGE - The composites have better mechanical and thermal properties, especially high thermal resistance, tensile and bending strength, stiffness and impact resistance, as well as lower water absorption.
