NOVELTY - A polymeric composition comprises polymer(s) having a polymeric structure and a predetermined amount of nanoparticulate component. The nanoparticulate component contains inorganic functional nanoparticulate compound(s) and/or graphene. The nanoparticulate component is associated with the polymer. The inorganic functional nanoparticulate component is group 3-12 metal, group 13-15 post-transition metal and/or lanthanoid. USE - Polymeric composition (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The polymeric composition has favorable magnetic, electromagnetic and radiation attenuation characteristics. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for polymeric precursor, which comprises component(s) chosen from isocyanate, polyisocyanate and 4,4'-methylene diphenyl diisocyanate-terminated prepolymer, and predetermined amount of nanoparticulate component which is graphene(s) and/or inorganic functional nanoparticulate associated with the polymer.
