NOVELTY - The cathode has a substrate whose predetermined area is provided with a bulge part. A top end part of a bump is provided with a first graphene film, where thickness of the first graphene film is more than that of thickness of the bulge part. A projection unit is provided with a second graphene film, where edge length of the first graphene film is greater than that of edge length of the predetermined area of the substrate. Transverse width of the bump is maintained about 0.5 to 5 mm. The substrate and the bump are made of conductive material. USE - Vertical graphene thin film field-emission cathode for an electrode (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The cathode increases current emission capability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a vertical graphene thin film field-emission cathode manufacturing method.
