NOVELTY - A graphene-metal composite comprises a porous metal foam substrate and a graphene layer deposited on the substrate. The porous metal foam substrate and graphene are compressed to form the graphene-metal composite. USE - Graphene-metal composite is used for roll-bonded nickel-copper foil enhanced with graphene. Uses include but are not limited to batteries for electric drive automobile, filter material for water filter, bendable LCD screens for consumer electronics, nanoelectronics, or lightweight component panel for commercial aircraft. ADVANTAGE - The graphene-metal composite has increased thermal and electrical capacity, and improved speed and energy efficiency.
