NOVELTY - Manufacture of mesoporous material using niobium doped grpahenosilicate possessing MCM topology involves (i) diluting 2.4 g 1-hexadecyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride in 50 mL deionized water under magnetic stirring, (ii) adding 50 mL ethyl alcohol and 10 mL ammonium hydroxide, (iii) solubilizing the variable amount of niobium obtain the silicon and niobium molar ratio of 1-10, (iv) adding 0.17 g graphene, (v) stirring for 10 minutes, (vi) adding 3.4 g tetraethyl orthosilicate, and magnetic stirring at 25-200 rpm for 2 hours at 23-25° C, (vii) filtering and washing with 50 mL deionized water for 3 times, and (viii) drying in an oven at 100° C until constant weight. USE - Manufacture of mesoporous material. ADVANTAGE - The method is carried out in room temperature, and produces mesoporous material using ionic solid which is easily synthesized.
