NOVELTY - Nanocomposite comprises substituted diamine dispersing agent (I) and carbon nanotubes containing 6-30C aromatic substituent and a functional group for multiple hydrogen bonds. The carbon nanotubes are obtained from single-walled carbon nanotubes, double-walled carbon nanotubes, multi-walled carbon nanotubes, single-layer graphene, multi-layer graphene, carbon black and/or carbon fibers. The dispersant compound is added in a weight ratio of 1:0.001-1:2 based on the weight of the carbon nanotubes. The nanocomposite material further comprises polymer. (I) is anthracen-9-ylmethyl ((1,3,3-trimethyl-5-(3-(6-methyl-4-oxo-1,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-yl)ureido)cyclohexyl)methyl)carbamate, anthracen-9-ylmethyl (6-(3-(6-methyl-4-oxo-1,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-yl)ureido)hexyl)carbamate, pyren-1-ylmethyl ((1,3,3-trimethyl-5-(3-(6-methyl-4-oxo-1,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-yl)ureido)cyclohexyl)methyl)carbamate and pyren-1-ylmethyl (6-(3-(6-methyl-4-oxo-1,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-yl)ureido)hexyl)carbamate. USE - The nanocomposite is useful as thermoelectric material in thermoelectric device (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The nanocomposite material has excellent mechanical and electrical properties of carbon nanotubes, and provides thermoelectric device having excellent performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Nanocomposite comprises substituted diamine dispersing agent of formula (I) and carbon nanotubes containing 6-30C aromatic substituent and a functional group for multiple hydrogen bonds. The carbon nanotubes are obtained from single-walled carbon nanotubes, double-walled carbon nanotubes, multi-walled carbon nanotubes, single-layer graphene, multi-layer graphene, carbon black and/or carbon fibers. The dispersant compound is added in a weight ratio of 1:0.001-1:2 based on the weight of the carbon nanotubes. The nanocomposite material further comprises polymer. (I) is anthracen-9-ylmethyl ((1,3,3-trimethyl-5-(3-(6-methyl-4-oxo-1,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-yl)ureido)cyclohexyl)methyl)carbamate, anthracen-9-ylmethyl (6-(3-(6-methyl-4-oxo-1,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-yl)ureido)hexyl)carbamate, pyren-1-ylmethyl ((1,3,3-trimethyl-5-(3-(6-methyl-4-oxo-1,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-yl)ureido)cyclohexyl)methyl)carbamate and pyren-1-ylmethyl (6-(3-(6-methyl-4-oxo-1,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-yl)ureido)hexyl)carbamate. A=(6-30C)aromatic ring; B1=(5-20C)heterocycle; m and n=0-3; and X=(1-10C)alkylene or (4-12C)cycloalkylene, where each of the alkylene or cycloalkylene are optionally substituted by (1-5C)alkyl. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: 6-methylpyrimidin-4(1H)-one based dispersing agent of formula (II), preferably anthracen-9-ylmethyl ((1,3,3-trimethyl-5-(3-(6-methyl-4-oxo-1,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-yl)ureido)cyclohexyl)methyl)carbamate and anthracen-9-ylmethyl (6-(3-(6-methyl-4-oxo-1,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-yl)ureido)hexyl)carbamate; and thermoelectric element comprising the nanocomposite as a thermoelectric material, a thermoelectric material array including the thermoelectric material, and an electrode electrically connecting the thermoelectric material array, where the thermoelectric material is a film manufactured by mold casting the nanocomposite material.
