▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Reducing organic contaminant concentration in a solution comprises: mixing the solution with a nanocomposite and hydrogen peroxide to form a mixture; and irradiating the mixture to photo-catalytically degrade a portion of the organic contaminant, where the solution has an organic contaminant concentration of 5-200 ppm, where the nanocomposite comprises tin cobalt oxide nanotubes and graphene oxide. USE - The method is useful for reducing organic contaminant i.e. dye concentration in solution. ADVANTAGE - The method: utilizes nanocomposite that to photo-catalytically degrade portion of organic contaminant in solution and enhances efficiency of liquid fuel; and provides improved water purification and for increasing fuel efficiency. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for enhancing the efficiency of a liquid fuel, comprising mixing a nanocomposite with the liquid fuel to produce an enhanced liquid fuel having a calorific value that is greater than the calorific value of the liquid fuel, where the nanocomposite comprises tin cobalt oxide nanotubes and graphene oxide, where the nanocomposite is present at a concentration of 15-120 ppm.
