NOVELTY - The preparation method of aqueous graphene alkyd resin involves mixing graphene, vegetable oil fatty acid, trimethylolpropane, pentaerythritol, isophthalic anhydride, catalyst and dimethylbenzene, heating, adding maleic anhydride to the mixture and centrifuging, dissolving base alkyd resin in propylene glycol methyl ether, mixing styrene, acrylic acid, initiator and surfactant, dripping mixed solution of base alkyd resin in the modified mixture, heat preserving, then adding organic amine and neutralizing to neutral, and diluting with water. USE - The method is useful for preparing aqueous graphene alkyd resin (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of aqueous graphene alkyd resin with excellent water resistance, hardness, antistatic property and corrosion resistance in an environmentally-friendly manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The preparation method of aqueous graphene alkyd resin involves mixing 0.5 pt. wt. graphene, 20 pts. wt. vegetable oil fatty acid, 3.5 pts. wt. trimethylolpropane, 3.5 pts. wt. pentaerythritol, 2 pts. wt. isophthalic anhydride, 0.1 pt. wt. catalyst and 20 pts. wt. dimethylbenzene under the protection of nitrogen atmosphere, heating at 190 plus minus 20 degrees C for 4-5 hours, adding 1 pt. wt. maleic anhydride to the mixture, keeping the temperature for 1-2 hours and centrifuging to obtain base alkyd resin, dissolving base alkyd resin in propylene glycol methyl ether to obtain mixed solution of base alkyd resin, mixing 5-8 pt. wt. styrene, 3-4 pt. wt. acrylic acid, 1 pt. wt. initiator and 0.45-75 pts. wt. surfactant to obtain modified mixture, dripping mixed solution of base alkyd resin in the modified mixture for 1-3 hours, heat preserving at 130 degrees C for 0.5-2 hours and reducing the temperature to 80 degrees C, then adding organic amine and neutralizing to neutral, and diluting with water to solid content of 20%.
