NOVELTY - Method for preparing a non-metal-doped carbon/ferrous sulfide composite involves (1) weighing 0.5-3 g initial carbon source, slowly adding to 30-~60 mL concentrated sulfuric acid or a mixed acid solution containing concentrated sulfuric acid and stirring at room temperature for 10-20 minutes to obtain a uniformly dispersed mixture liquid; (2) slowly adding 3-6 g ferrate to the mixed solution obtained in step (1), continuously stirring at room temperature for 10-20 minutes, raising the temperature of the system to 35-60degrees Celsius, and reacting for 12-36 hours; (3) allowing the reaction solution obtained in step (2) to stand for 1-2 days; (4) transferring the sediment obtained in step (3) to a blast drying oven and drying at 60-100degrees Celsius, after thorough drying, obtaining a solid block, which is ground and pulverized for later use and (5) mixing the solid powder obtained in step (4) with the doping source containing non-metallic heteroatoms and adopting hot calcination. USE - The method is useful for preparing a non-metal-doped carbon/ferrous sulfide composite used in applications of an ion battery negative electrode material and an electrocatalyst. ADVANTAGE - The method utilizes the residual wastes in the oxidation process of carbon materials, turns wastes into treasures, adopts simple and easy preparation process, does not need repeated washing, achieves high utilization rate of raw materials and has strong operability, and low pollution. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Method for preparing a non-metal-doped carbon/ferrous sulfide composite involves (1) weighing 0.5-3 g initial carbon source, slowly adding to 30-~60 mL concentrated sulfuric acid or a mixed acid solution containing concentrated sulfuric acid and stirring at room temperature for 10-20 minutes to obtain a uniformly dispersed mixture liquid; (2) slowly adding 3-6 g ferrate to the mixed solution obtained in step (1), continuously stirring at room temperature for 10-20 minutes, raising the temperature of the system to 35-60degrees Celsius, and reacting for 12-36 hours; (3) allowing the reaction solution obtained in step (2) to stand for 1-2 days, and after the solution is thoroughly layered, obtaining the lower sediment by centrifugation or filtration separation; (4) transferring the sediment obtained in step (3) to a blast drying oven and performing a drying treatment at 60-100degrees Celsius, after thorough drying, obtaining a solid block, which is ground and pulverized for later use and (5) mixing the solid powder obtained in step (4) with the doping source containing non-metallic heteroatoms in a mass ratio of (1:1)-(1:10), and in an inert atmosphere at 650-1000degrees Celsius, after hot calcination for 1~3 hours, obtaining the non-metal doped carbon/ferrous sulfide composite.
