NOVELTY - The negative electrode material comprises particles of a housing structure. The particle includes a core and a cladding layer. The material of the core includes a silicon-based matrix and a first doping element doped in the silicon-based matrix. The first doping element includes nitrogen and fluorine. The material of the cladding layer includes a carbon-based matrix and a second doping element doped in the carbon-based matrix. The second doping element includes nitrogen and fluorine. USE - Negative electrode material for battery such as lithium ion battery used in terminal e.g. mobile phone. Uses include but are not limited to tablet computer, notebook computer, and portable machine. ADVANTAGE - The negative electrode material improves the energy density, but also effectively improves the fast charging performance of the negative electrode materials, so as to solve the problem of the bad charging performance to a certain extent. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) a method for preparing negative electrode material; and (2) a battery.
